Rest assured, a Lehigh designed and constructed walkway will last for many years to come.   We compact the excavated subgrade soil before the addition of base course material to increase the density and load bearing capacity of the soil. The excavated area will be a minimum of 6" greater in size than the finished paver area to insure proper drainage and proper stability of the edge restraint. 5 oz. filter fabric is used between the subgrade and base material to eliminate any migration of base material into the subgrade soil. The base course will be installed in lifts to create proper density: a minimum of 8" on patios 12" on driveways. All pavements will be graded with proper pitch to handle any drainage issue. All Unilock products have a lifetime warranty. Lehigh lawns and landscaping provides a 5 year warranty on the workmanship of their installations.
