Plantings

Lehigh Lawns & Landscaping selects plants that thrive in the Hudson Valley climate by matching each plant to the property’s sun exposure, soil conditions, drainage, and regional cold hardiness. Soil samples taken at the onsite consultation inform those choices. Lehigh’s team includes ISA Certified Arborist credentials and plant health care expertise, and it installs only high-quality plantings suited to each landscape. Perennials, shrubs, and trees form the long-term structure, while annual displays add seasonal color.

Lehigh Lawns & Landscaping offers a one-year warranty on new plantings when the installation is paired with a plant health care plan. The warranty is reviewed at the final walkthrough along with care instructions for the first season. Consistent watering through the first year is the biggest factor in plant establishment, and an irrigation system keeps new beds on a reliable schedule. Homeowners who want ongoing care add Lehigh’s landscape maintenance program.

Lehigh Lawns & Landscaping replaces and redesigns existing garden beds and plant layouts, removing overgrown or declining plants and installing new plantings suited to the space. A bed redesign starts with an assessment of what is worth keeping, such as healthy mature shrubs, and what needs to go. Lehigh then adjusts bed shapes, soil, and plant spacing so the new layout fills in without overcrowding. Both perennial beds and annual displays are part of the planting service.
